1. PAYMENT OF DEPOSIT
The Deposit is set at €100 and serves to secure any claims of the CU dormitory against the student.
If the accommodation contract is concluded for a period of 10 months, the student has the option of paying a deposit in two instalments:
- The first deposit instalment of €50 is paid by continuing students together with the payment of the accommodation fee for the month of September 2025. The payment must be credited to CU Družba account no later than on 27 August 2025. The first instalment of the deposit does not need to be paid by those who stay at Družba during the summer (the deposit is automatically transferred to their stay during the next academic year) nor newly admitted students who paid an advance, which is considered to be the first deposit instalment.
- The second instalment of the deposit at €50, together with the accommodation fee for the month of February 2026 (the payment must be credited to CU Družba account by 31 January 2026 at the latest).
If the deposit and the accommodation fee for September are not credited to the CU Družba account by 27 August 2025, the student loses their allocated accommodation at CU Družba.
After the correct handover of the room at check-out and settlement of all outstanding contractual obligations towards the accommodation provider (accommodation fee, contractual penalties, damage, etc.), the balance of the deposit will be returned by bank transfer to the student's account.
